On the way back to Tokyo, we were able to see my very good friend Kumiko's parents in Hiroshima for a short visit in the train station. They are so sweet!
We are now masters of the transportation system! From Miyajima to Tokyo, we took 1 ferry, 2 Shinkansens (bullet trains), 1 local metro train in 5 hours with all of our luggage!
Tokyo also has Sanrio's Puroland. A whole theme park dedicated to Hello Kitty and her friends! Kyla was in heaven! You can see her in the picture in front, dancing with the characters at one of the shows :0)
Looks like she's figured out the Japanese peace-sign pose without anyone showing her ;0) She's a natural!
This is the Tokyo SkyTree which was built last year. It is the second largest tower in the world! The elevator moved at 600 meters per minute! Amazingly fast!
